![]() ![]() That magical glitter they used really must have been magic because I could not find it sold ANYWHERE!! Nothing even close to that beautiful “don’t know it’s even there until BAM you’re blinded with it” colour. ![]() However, as I clicked on their website I realised it really would be dollar I was spending, the brand is American (I mean, I really should’ve noticed that in their Instagram name LA…) and even though the item itself wasn’t that badly priced ($22) I knew with shopping costs it’d rack up to a whopping $37 which I’m just not going to spend on a pot of glitter.Īs much as I’d love to be able to support the company, a broke ass b**ch like me with no job really can’t warrant spending that much on some glitter (no matter how much my past child self is screaming for it,) so I took it upon myself to make my own… Not only was it fairy dust goals but all their products are cruelty-free and vegan so I was ready to splash some dollah. The reason it gets it’s name “Houdini” is because in some lights this glitter paste will look completely invisible, but in others, a beautiful electric/ultraviolet blue glitter sparkles to the high heavens…and I just knew I had to have it. Now anything sparky catches my eye (my inner 5 year old squeals with joy at anything that reeks of pink and fairies) but this was a body glitter like nothing I had seen before. Lemonhead, a company that makes “glitter for adults,” was flashing their famous space paste in Houdini. ![]() (I'm adding a very scuffed picture of the color phantom.A typical day of mindless scrolling through my Instagram feed, trying to find something to pull me out of boredom (something I’ve probably wasted most of my life doing) I came across a brand which changed the glitter game, forever. I'll definitely purchase more colors in the future! It's gonna fullfill all your glitter fantasies without fearing that you'll hurt your eyes but you should be careful and patient with removing nonetheless. Overall, I'm really impressed with this product. So far I've tried different eyeliner looks and even glitter tears under my eyes (hellooo euphoria fans!) and I didn't get anything in my eyes, nothing wandered anywhere it shouldn't. You only need the tiniest amount but I recommend using the flat brush so the glitter lays flat and stands out. My face was perfectly clean and no dreaded scratchy eyes at the end of the day! You can actually move the glitter in place with a clean brush when its still tacky but after that it doesn't move. This stuff is phenomenal!! I can't say much about removing it solely with make-up removers since I used tape to take most of it off, then eye make-up remover and face wash. I've NAPT for several hours with glitter eyeliner (adult film) all around my eyes and when I woke up, ready for a disaster, there were maybe 2 or 3 single glitter specks on my cheeks. I've been experimenting with glitters and shimmers for years trying to find something that doesnt wander all over your face or irritates my eyes and this is the best product I've tried! The glitters all have a balm base that dries down into nothing on the skin, leaving the glitter in place without glueing it on. ![]()
